Fullstack Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Build new web applications from the ground up.
- Perform front end and back end development as needed.

- Collaborating with other engineers and job functions such as design, QA, product management, line management and DevOps as part of an Agile development team to develop new product features and to improve and fix bugs in existing features.
- Troubleshooting development and production problems.
- Contributing in Agile methods as part of a model of continuous improvement.
- Review product specifications to provide feedback based on usability, feasibility and complexity.
- Help research existing bugs and defects.
Essential skills and experience:
- 2+ years development experience.
- Excelent communication skills.
- Collaborating with others on a shared code base and conducting peer code reviews.
- A solid grasp of agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with at least some of: PHP, Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Angular.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems such as MySQL and Postgres.
- Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery.
- Familiarity with Linux shell.
- Familiarity with building and using APIs.
- Previous experience of using version control and configuration management tools such as Git.
- Strong team player.
Desired but not essential:
- A technical BEng/BSc degree in a computing or similar/related engineering discipline is preferred but not required.
- Experience of test automation using JavaScript.
- Prior experience of working within an Agile environment and associated tools (Atlassian Jira, Confluence, github, etc.).

- Experience using automated testing tools.
